Boylston Street, in the heart of the Back Bay, is home to more than 100 stores, including Talbot's, Eddie Bauer, City Sports, Hermes, Escada, Sax Fifth Avenue, Ann Taylor, the Body Shop and more. Parallel to Boylston is Newbury Street with its upscale boutiques and hip clothing stores; sort of a combination of New York's Soho District and Fifth Avenue. Harvard Square comprises just a few blocks, but holds more than 150 stores selling clothes, books and records, furnishings, and a range of specialty items.
