BOSTON 2-DAY

ADVENTURE

Boston is one of America's most vibrant cities, where old-world atmosphere is mixed with present day excitement and vitality.  Boston is a world center for education, medicine, high technology and finance.   Boston's role in shaping American History is unique among all other cities, from the Paul Revere House to the Boston Tea Party Ship, the Old State House to the Old North Church, history is on every corner.

The Boston area is known for its many colleges and universities.  Found in 1636, Harvard University, located in nearby Cambridge, is the oldest and one of the most esteemed institutions of higher learning in the United States. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the world's leading research universities, is also located in Cambridge.

Our 2-day tour of Boston includes the historic sites in the city known as the "Cradle of Liberty," where United States history began.  Here, you might like to stroll the Freedom Trail, a walking tour through historic Boston, encompassing 16 of the most treasured sites in American History.  Then, have dinner at Quincy Market where you can buy some unique souvenirs and enjoy marvelous street entertainers.

The driving tour, points you to places you can explore in your free time: like the enchanting Boston Common, America's oldest public park; and Beacon Hill, the oldest and most exclusive neighborhood in the US; you'll see the Bull and Finch Pub, inspiration for the TV sitcom "Cheers;" Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox baseball team; you'll have the chance to photograph the Boston Tea Party Ship and visit the USS Constitution, better known as "Old Ironsides", the oldest commissioned warship in the world.  You'll have time to roam the Campus of Harvard and its unusual museums.

If shopping is your thing, Boston offers shopping like no other city can.  Boylston Street, in the heart of the Back Bay, is home to more than 100 stores, including Talbot's, Eddie Bauer, City Sports, Hermes, Escada, Sax Fifth Avenue, Ann Taylor, the Body Shop and more.  Parallel to Boylston is Newbury Street with its upscale boutiques and hip clothing stores.  Sort of a combination of New York's Soho District and Fifth Avenue, Newbury Street offers big name designers like Versace and Armani, in a quaint setting of sidewalk cafés perfect for people watching.  Harvard Square comprises just a few blocks, but holds more than 150 stores selling clothes, books and records, furnishings, and a range of specialty items.

Our Tour Price includes: Transportation; Escort; 1 Night's Lodging; Breakfast; Tour of the Boston Area including Cambridge; all related tax & gratuities.
